Vacation

The Mister and I are going away for a few days for a mini-vacation. We usually take more time in the summer, but we went on 2 huge vacations last year and he's taking classes during this summer semester. He wanted to finish his degree by December, and summer classes will do that for him. So we're only taking short jaunts this year, a weekend here and a weekend there.

So we're off on one of our long weekend mini-vacations. Today I'm doing all those getting ready things - going to Barnes and Noble for an airplane book, taking the dog to the kennel, doing laundry, packing. You know, all the really fun stuff. (Not!) But at least doing all those things means we get to go away and certainly that's more than a lot of people are doing these days.

Colorado, here we come! (And Wyoming and possibly Nebraska as well...) I may be up to 39 states by next week.
